Icon Styles

Icon Styles That I Do and Do Not Like

DO LIKE:

I like these icons because they have a since of simplicity while also being able to understand what they are. I like the color pallet of the third. I like just the simplicity and lines of the second. I really like the style of the first one. The use of color in the first and third are really enjoyable; I think the second could have incorporated color too, but does not necessarily need it. Basically, the simplicity of these is what caught my attention.

DON'T LIKE

I am not a huge fan of these icons. Although it’s nice to have color, I think the use of so many different colors is really distracting like in the first one. If they were used separately, I would like them more, but all together, I think it is a little much. I think the second is kind of inconsistent. Granted the color scheme is similar, but some icons have more details than others; especially the more technological ones. I do really like the color scheme though. I think it is just enough color to where it’s not overbearing. Although the third is simple, I think it might almost be too simple. I think a little more detail could improve these. I also think they have too much darkness to them. Choosing a color that is not as dark might affect my opinion, but I just simply don’t like the color choice. I think the designs are consistent, so that helps.

Harrison Ford

Hello!

So, when researching for this new project, I chose to do Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford is a well known actor that has been in over 50 films and has played some very iconic characters. Two of his most popular would be Indiana Jones from the Indiana Jones series and Han solo in Star Wars. Ford has 5 children and has been married 3 times, with his most recent marriage being in 2010. He is from Chicago and did not necessarily start in the acting world. Below is the long list of interesting facts and quotes I found about him. Enjoy!
